lesson:Creation of Isreal
Zionism is the national movement for the return of the Jewish people to their homeland and the resumption of Jewish authority in the Land of Israel, from its inception, tangible as well as spiritual aims. Jews of all persuasions, left and right, religious and secular, joined to form the Zionist movement and worked together toward these goals. Disagreements led to rifts, but the common goal of a Jewish state in its ancient homeland was attained. The term "Zionism" was coined in 1890 by Nathan Birnbaum. The conflics that this new country was that it was attacked by the combined forces of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Egypt, just a day after it declared independence, is an important part of the Israeli consciousness. After the war the Palestine people did not like the holy land so, after the 1948 war, Israel possessed approximately 8,000 square miles of Palestine, reducing the Arab lands partition by some 50 percent. Jerusalem was divided, with Arabs on the east side of the armistice line the Green Line and the Jews on the west.

Lesson: Nelson Mandela and Apartheid
Well from my understanding Apartheid is a very important policy of Racial segregation which was practiced in the Republic of South Africa which involved Political, Legal, And Economic discrimination against Black People, in other words it was the Segregation of Black and White people. Nelson Mandela was the chief cause of a great movement which stopped Apartheid he was a man who believed in non- violence like most great historians. Sadly however he was incarcerated for 27 years, but that did not stop him and in 1994 he was elected president over Africa. He was probably liked because he was a man of peace and for his progress in Africa he won the Noble Peace Prize.

Lesson: African Indepence
Well in 1919 and in 1921 an educated middle class began to show their face in African cities. They went to college and became educated and they were influenced and learned about people such as W. E. B. Du Bios and Blaise Diagne ( who was much older). Africans and West Indians who spoke French began started to show their " growing sense of black consciousness and pride, they formed the Negritude movement which was a movement to celebrate
African culture, heritage, and values. Black People began to change more and more, they began to listen to American Jazz, they read literature of the Harlem Renaissance, they pretty much became one. A man by the name of Leopold Senghor who was a movement leader became their first president. Then Kwame Nkrumah had became the first prime Minister and he too became President. So in conclusion Africa found Independence by many brave smart Black men

Lesson: Neolithic Revolution
The Neolithic revolution waqs a time period that was 10,000 years ago. This was a time period when people changed from hunting to planting & gathering. This was a practice which was dangerous. When people started farming they had more food and the amount of people grew. after time cities were formed. Most cities however formed in river valleys because of their rich soil which was also called silt. The four important river valleys were The Nile. The Tigris, THe Yellow, & TheIndus Rivers. Title: The European Union
The European Union was the way some European leaders felt was the only way to secure peace and also to unite their countries economically and politically. This Union was a good thing because it made traveling around Europe much easier kind of like the way the US does it. Another good thing it brought was people who live in EU nations could freely work in other EU nations. Like a Englishman can live and work in Germany, or an Italian citizen can live and work in France. This could not happen 10 years ago. The thing that this Union prevented was Countries like England, Germany, France, are together economically, politically, militarily and so on. so now happily the chances of these countries who were once the scene of terrible and bloody wars going to war is very slim!

Title: Nato and the warsaw pact
NATO is a organization which includes the countries Europe and North America. The Warsaw pact was another mutual defense alliance like the North Atlantic Treaty, and was created in retaliation . The NATO pact was formed by Europe and North America, The main reason for the development of NATO was the countries that were with this pact wanted a mutual defense alliance so that if one of them were attacked, the other countries in NATO would come to their help. They also would help Countries like western Europe with economic aide under the Marshall plan. The Warsaw pact on the other hand was dominated by the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union kept military personnel in the other countries of the alliance in order to keep a socialist government. It was A very important step to strengthen the Soviet Union's hold on its satellite countries. The Warsaw Pact was renewed in 1985, However the political state the end of the 1980's made the organization very weak it was like the cane they were leaning on was suddenly was removed. So finally in 1991 the leaders that were still in the pact decided to dismember.
Title: The Cuban Missile Crisis
Well as history shows/states the Cuban Missile Crisis was the closest the world ever came to nuclear war. In 1962 Russia was losing the race in the 'Arms Race' it being the fact that Soviet missiles were only powerful enough to land in Europe, whereas the US could easily knock Russia off its feet, however in Cuba Fidel Castro was looking for a way to protect his Island from a attack from the US so Fidel And Nikita Khrushchev who was the premier in the soviet locked sides, and the plan was underway for Russia to place their missiles in Cuba. This I feel was the hottest moment in the cold war because Russia and the US were now tied neck in neck.
So to combat the issue Kennedy decided to make it public knowledge that the missiles were in Cuba and he decided to quarantine the island. So after much wear and tear things started to calm down on October 28Th and Khrushchev announced that he would dismantle the installation and return them back to the soviet union. Yay! Another victory for the US!!!!!!!!!!!!!
